Trust you are staying safe and doing your part to flatten the curve. 

I deemed it necessary to reach out to  you all in regards to what impact COVID-19 has had on our business. 

Our Tea Supply & Why You Are Safe 

• We continue to operate and ship orders beginning 5/1/2020; simply do to restock & relaunch separate from COVID-19 Pandemic 

• No one in our company has become sick 

• We are in constant contact with our suppliers in regards to any changes they experience

• Our tea supply has very large inventories in their warehouses under vacuum 

• State of the art tea drying takes place as tea arrives from farms into warehouses that reach above 200 degrees F for minimally 15 minutes 

• Equipment is sanitized before packing; proper PPE is worn to pack teas  

Recommended Steeping Temperature

• The recommended steeping temperature in water is greater than 190 degrees F for 5 minutes. 

• Whilst tea is prepared to individual taste, the longer you steep tea, the better it task and the higher the probability that any microorganisms in your water will die due to high temperature. 

• We believe that drinking tea regardless of the origin of the tea, is a safe practice. To the best of our knowledge, there are no microorganisms that can survive high temperature tea steeping; so not only is tea good for you, but with the proper and recommended preparation, you also ensure that the water is free of potentially harmful microorganisms. 

Shipments & Returns

• There may be a slight delay with orders due to COVID-19 Pandemic

• Customers orders will be shipped within 5-7 business days of receiving order

• We are currently not accepting returns due to safety percautions, but should you not be satisfied with your order, please contact us at lavonne@tealingco.com
